Dear Friends,
Last night I spent three hours (missed the X-Factor!) to desperately write an article. Why? Because although absolutely, positively I have no intention of kicking the bucket any time soon, while ago I, hesitantly, drew up myself a "Bucket List!" I say "hesitantly" because I'm superstitious (I don't buy insurance!) However, my wish list is very long, so I feel pretty safe. To make a yet another long story short, becoming a "published writer" is on top of this list!
So, getting back to last night, as I was wrestling with the elements of the English language, I had an epiphany!
For the past 32 entries, I have written and shared (posting on OAW counts as being published, n'est-ce-pas?) You have read, developed an opinion and made comments ( I have readers, n'est-ce-pas?) I have even been stopped for compliments and encouragement (I have fans, n'est-ce-pas?) Well heck, what am I wishing for? I already am an author!!! I am so very, very grateful to each and every one of you for allowing me to share my thoughts and feelings and thus being able to cross out the first item off my Bucket List! Moral of the story? It's all in the perspective! Now, if only drawing circles for my students would make an artist out of me!
