I'm thinking of running a "I would be grateful if..." blog parallel to the "I'm grateful for..." blog!!!
As I mentioned sometime ago, it's very difficult to feel grateful when ones basic needs are not met. I consider the "right" temperature in my living/working environment to be a basic need of which I, along with a few others, have been deprived of since Thursday afternoon! I remain grateful to all those who have shown concern and have taken action to rectify the matter or have let me and my students take refuge in their room. This morning I can feel an anemic heat coming out of the radiator. While the welcomed warm air fills the room to set the temperature at a "comfortable" level, I remain grateful for indoor plumbing and toilette paper!
