Gratitude Day 19

Dear friends,
Last night while I was wining and dining myself (believe me, it's not as sad it sounds,) I realised that I have reached a milestone in my career. One of my former grade 6 Core French students is my colleague! I think that's so cool! Since I don't see "retirement" in my horizon any time soon, one of these days I will be receiving the offspring of my former students. Now how cool would that be?! To make a long story short, all of that led me to think about the people with whom I work. I am so very grateful to all of you. Some of you have extended your hand in friendship. Some of you give me rides, articles, activity sheets, compliments. Some encourage and support me. Some of you share with me your humour, professional opinion or a risqué joke (oh sorry, I do that!) In times of need you lend me a hand, an ear or send me a hello and a smile. The value of this kind of blessing cannot be reduced, only reused and recycled for many more months to come. I especially would like to thank my colleague for teaching me how to do cuttings, and to root from her lovely Paw Coleus plant. And I would like to acknowledge our Principal's quiet gentle way of showing affection.
Have an affectionate day everyone!
